How to Install BUSSID Mods
How to Install BUSSID Mods — Step by Step
Installing mods in Bus Simulator Indonesia takes less than 2 minutes on any Android phone or tablet.
What you need: Bus Simulator Indonesia installed on Android · A downloaded .bussidmod or .zip mod file · A file manager app
Step 1 — Download the Mod
Find the mod you want on Bussid.in and tap the Download button. After the countdown, your file will download to your phone.
The file will usually be a .bussidmod file or a .zip file.
⚠️ Do NOT extract or unzip the file. BUSSID handles it automatically.
Step 2 — Import the Mod into BUSSID
The easiest and most reliable method that works on all Android versions:
- Open Bus Simulator Indonesia
- Tap Garage
- Tap Import Mod
- Navigate to where your downloaded file is saved (usually in Downloads folder)
- Select the .bussidmod or .zip file
- BUSSID will copy and install it automatically
Alternative — Manual Install (for advanced users)
If you want to place the file manually, use a file manager app to move it to:
Internal Storage → Android → data → com.maleo.bussimulatorid → files → mod
⚠️ On Android 11 and above some phones restrict access to the Android/data folder. Use the in-game Import Mod method instead — it always works.
Step 3 — Use Your New Mod
- After importing, go to Garage in BUSSID
- Your new bus or livery will appear in the vehicle list
- Select it and tap Use
- Go to Career or Free Drive and enjoy your new mod
Mod Not Showing Up?
- Restart BUSSID completely after importing
- Check that your BUSSID version is compatible — the mod page shows the required version
- Try clearing BUSSID cache: Settings → Apps → BUSSID → Clear Cache → relaunch
- Make sure the file downloaded completely and is not corrupted
How to Remove a Mod
- Open BUSSID → Garage
- Find the modded vehicle
- Tap the Delete or Remove option
- The mod is removed from your game — you can re-import it later from Bussid.in anytime
